This 5-ring packing set features an inner diameter of 20 mm and an outer diameter of 33.2 mm, offering a precise fit for optimal sealing efficiency. The base material is high-purity graphite (≥99%) which provides excellent thermal stability, chemical resistance, and lubricity. It is reinforced with 20% Inconel 600/625 metal wire, enhancing mechanical strength, pressure resistance, and blowout protection under severe service conditions.
Certified under TA-Luft, ISO 15848, and API 589 (Fire Safe), this packing set delivers exceptional sealing performance even in high-risk and environmentally sensitive applications. Its design prevents stem binding caused by over-tightening of gland bolts and incorporates a buffering function that absorbs impact and vibration from stem motion—making it especially effective in pneumatic control valve assemblies.
Capable of withstanding temperatures from -200°C to +400°C in most media and up to +550°C in steam, the packing set is suitable for a wide pH range (0 to 14) and pressures up to 25 MPa. It also supports shaft speeds of up to 2 m/s, making it versatile across a wide array of process conditions.
